Travis Kelce has already built a Hall of Fame-worthy NFL career, but following his marriage to Taylor Swift, many fans have begun wondering what could come next once football is behind him.
The Kansas City Chiefs star has already explored acting with appearances in Grotesquerie, Happy Gilmore 2, and as host of Saturday Night Live. Now, some believe music could be next.
According to reports, Kelce even performed during his and Swift’s wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden, sparking fresh speculation about a possible country music career.

“Travis has been talking about making a country album for months,” one insider claimed. “The wedding performance wasn’t just a fun moment—it was a test run. He was singing in front of the biggest names in music, and he wanted to see how it felt.”
His brother, Jason Kelce, has also fueled the rumors by insisting Travis “can sing” and has “always been able to carry a tune.”
Still, insiders say breaking into country music would be far from easy.
“Some of Taylor’s friends in the music industry think he’s underestimating how tough country music really is,” a source told Naughty But Nice. “Celebrity might get you through the front door, but it won’t keep you on the charts. You still have to earn the respect of Nashville.”
Others, however, believe Kelce has already proven doubters wrong.
“People said Taylor and Travis would never make it, never get married, and certainly never pull off a Madison Square Garden wedding,” another insider said. “They’ve proved everyone wrong before. Travis has relentless drive, enormous charisma, and the biggest superstar in music standing beside him.”
For now, though, any music plans remain speculative. Kelce is expected to return for at least one more season with the Chiefs, chasing another Super Bowl before deciding what comes next.
“With Taylor in his corner, Travis believes the sky’s the limit,” the source added. “Now it’s Nashville’s turn to decide if it’s ready for football’s next act.”
Meanwhile, Swift is expected to continue supporting her husband from the stands, though sources say game days bring their own challenges.
According to HeatWorld, “Taylor loves going to the games to support Travis – she finds it thrilling to be a part of the spectacle, and now that she’s his wife it’s going to be that much more important.”
The source added, “But that doesn’t mean it’s not stressful. The pressure is immense.”
“Game days take a lot out of her, because the cameras are on her from the second she walks into the stadium until the moment she leaves, and everything she does gets dissected online. She can’t just relax and watch the game the way everyone else does – she has to constantly be on. Even for someone as used to the spotlight as Taylor is, it’s daunting.”
