Netflix has continued its strong run in 2026, with several major film and television releases attracting huge audiences and setting impressive viewership milestones. Among its biggest movie successes so far is War Machine, a sci-fi thriller led by Alan Ritchson, best known for Prime Video’s Reacher. The film accumulated nearly 140 million views in its first 90 days on the platform, securing a place among Netflix’s 10 most-watched titles of all time. On the television side, I Will Find You, adapted from Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name, also became a major hit. Starring Sam Worthington (Avatar: Fire and Ash) and Britt Lower (Severance), the series maintained a place in Netflix’s Top 10 for months and surpassed 100 million views.

With the year nearing its end, Netflix is still bringing fresh titles to its catalogue. The streamer recently released Sacrifice, a cult thriller featuring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans, which continues to appear in the global Top 10. Another high-profile release is just around the corner: Trinity, an eight-episode drama starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki) and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones).
Netflix unveiled the first official trailer for Trinity this morning, offering viewers an early look at a series already drawing comparisons to Tom Hanks’ 2020 Apple TV film Greyhound. Created and written by Jed Mercurio, the drama centres on a courageous female naval officer whose involvement with a seemingly charming secretary of defense leads her towards a potentially dangerous conspiracy. All eight episodes are set to arrive on Netflix on December 1.
