Janelle Brown is already imagining a lasting future with her new boyfriend, Pete, and their latest social media moment has fans cheering them on.

In an Instagram video shared on Wednesday, October 21, the couple sat together in rocking chairs on a porch, enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon. Pete shared the clip with a heartfelt caption: “Beautiful fall afternoon. Rockin with my baby. This is forever.”

The video also revealed just how far ahead the couple is thinking.

“Okay, we’re predicting this is us in five years,” Pete said to the camera.

Janelle had a much longer timeline in mind. “Oh no. Let’s say 30,” she replied.

Pete appeared momentarily confused, asking, “Wait… six years?” When Janelle repeated, “30,” he finally caught on. “Oh, my God. 30, okay,” he said, as Janelle added that they would still be sitting together in their rocking chairs.

Janelle’s relationship with Pete comes after the end of her long relationship with Kody Brown, whose plural marriage was documented on TLC’s Sister Wives.

Janelle was one of Kody’s four wives, alongside Meri, Christine, and Robyn Brown. Over the past several years, the family’s relationships underwent significant changes. Janelle, Meri, and Christine all separated from Kody, leaving Robyn as his only remaining wife.

Janelle and Kody were together for approximately 30 years and share six children: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah. Their son Garrison died by suicide in 2024.
